Facebook

In the last few years Facebook has become one of the biggest sites for adverting on. They have over 1 billion users, although how many of those accounts are classed as active we do not know, many will have been closed down that were spamming and backlinking. However, the user base is still massive, and advertising is a lot cheaper than Adwords, although it does convert less. This is because that on Google, people may be actively searching to buy something, but on Facebook they are not. It is still worth testing on this platform though.

This is similar to Adwords, and now allows you to get your ads on Yahoo and Bing. Prices are cheaper than Adwords, and the traffic you get can be just as good. Since these two giants joined forces, you have an easy and quick way of getting your ads in front of a lot of people.
